Bentley Executive Interior Concept

Bentley Executive Interior Concept: A custom interior for tech junkies, kids and CEOs on the go
Bentley1.jpg

How many times have you sat in the back of your Bentley Mulsanne and wished you could more easily get some work done? Fortunately, the clever engineers in Crewe have created the Bentley Executive Interior Concept (EIC), an orgy of Apple-powered gear surrounding one of the most beautiful rear seats available, made even more over-the-top by a new satin-finished, pin-striped maple Yachting veneer.

Bentley-backseat.jpg

Stephen Viner, the electrical engineer in charge of the EIC, took us for a tour. First, a center console was added to house a lot of the gear and storage space for gadgets, a box of tissues and a small waste bin. Buttons in the center console control most features, including the opening and closing of the leather backed 15" LED screen (nothing more naff than an exposed plastic back).

Bentley-tray.jpg

The screen is flanked on either side by two seat-back video monitors. The audio and video system is powered by a Mac Mini (which sits in a new, easily accessible tray in the car's boot), allowing for full-on productivity, and you can of course connect an iPod or iPhone if your preferred tunes aren't in the Mini's library; any source then gets played through the car's Naim audio system, which provides 20 channels, 20 speakers, and 2200 watts.

Bentley-console.jpg Bentley-dropdown.jpg

The system is controlled by a wireless keyboard which neatly tucks into the rear of the console—just below the refrigerated compartment—and a trackpad. A new Bentley app also controls the system from any of your devices. When you've finished your work you can easily save it to one of two USB drives. Naturally, the car has its own wi-fi network.

A push of the outer buttons in the console releases the work tables, which rise and unfold (and retract) mechanically. Should you desire to access one of the car's two iPads, simply wave your hand in front of the tray and it opens to reveal a keyboard and dock.

Sometimes you just need to write something the old-fashioned way, and they've thought of that too, with a matching, custom-made Tibaldi pen. New task lights have been added, and of course vanity mirrors to check your appearance for important Skyping, FaceTiming or simply to shoot your daily Facebook profile update.

Bentley-back.jpg

The Executive Interior Concept is available as an option, and of course can be customized to your needs and specifications. Pricing wasn't announced, but if you have to ask... Visit Bentley for more information or to find a dealer near you.

Countdown with Keith Olbermann Available To Viewers That Don't Get Current TV?

I hope Kieth Olbermann puts the entire nightly broadcast of Countdown on iTunes as a nightly podcast, Hulu, or posts the entire show on the Current TV website.

My cable provider does not carry Current TV, and even sending the email requesting they have it available to it's customers does not mean i will be able to view Countdown when it premieres on June 20, 2011.

I originally become a fan of Keith's when i found some clips on YouTube.  I then found out there was a nightly podcast and web cast and from that point on i was HOOKED.  I know that if they make the show available online or on iTunes as a podcast that the whole of Keith's fan base will be sure to follow with great loyalty and appreciation.

Until then, i guess I'll just have to wait until the 20th and keep my fingers crossed.

Illeagal Aliens In Just One State

Illeagal Aliens In Just One State

This is only one State................If this doesn't open your eyes nothing will!

From the
L. A. Times

1. 40% of all workers in L.A. County ( L.A. County has 10.2 million people)are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card..

2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by    taxpayers..

5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally

6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.

8.  Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

9.  21 radio stations in L. A. are Spanish speaking.

10. In L. A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish.
(There are 10.2 million people in L. A. County )

All 10 of the above are from the
Los Angeles Times

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare.  Over 70% of the United States ' annual population growth (and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from immigration.  29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

We are a bunch of fools for letting this continue.

HOW CAN YOU HELP???

Send copies of this to at least two other people.  100 would be even better

What If Jesus Was A Drag Queen?

This is one of those videos that delves into a realm not traveled by most artists. Taking a religious figure, (Jesus of all people); and transforming them into something completely outside the box of conventional thinking. Raven Chad poses the above question in this video dissertation of blending Jesus Christ and Transvestitism (better known as drag), resulting in a surprising and eye opening discovery. What would Jesus look like as a Drag Queen?

Infringing On A Person's Right

I think America has to be careful when instituting certain laws...it could come back to bite you in the ass. When you start taking away one person's right(s) to serve your own views and beliefs, it's only a matter of time before some other group come along and says...

"Well, it was okay to infringe on that person and/or group's right(s), why can't we infringe on yours too.

This is an excerpt from another article I wrote. Even as an excerpt, it still holds it's own.

Praying @ Starbucks

So I see these 2 ladies praying at Starbucks and think..."Sure, let's pray, right here in Starbucks, listening to classic rock and bent over in our chairs". I wonder if they were asking God to bless their Mocha's or to give their caffeine an extra boost!

"Cavalier"

"Cavalier" says the boy at Starbucks, I have no idea what he was talking about, but he is very cute. I would even bet money that the car outside with the license plate that basically states that he is a "chick magnet", is his...which must mean he is either very insecure or gay, trying to hide behind the sports car announcing the fact that he is a stud. Such a big phrase for a guy like that. "I don't want to be Cavalier".

Whatever!

If Jesus Saves

A "Jesus Saves" decal is on the back of a truck, one of the passengers has braids of which are blonde and fuchsia pink.

So my question is..."If Jesus saves, why didn't he save you from going to the salon that did that to your hair"?

We really do live in the "Matrix"

People are stupid; I don't know what can be done about it? But who do you really think cares or wants to realize they're living a lie? I can't find the energy to even begin to enlighten the United Idiots of America, It's a plague that doesn't really kill its host; it kills the people that see it for what it really is.

The stupidity of people kills me, the shear unwillingness to accept anything different than what they've been force-fed.

Why would you want to go on with blinders on? No wonder I'd rather be dead. It would be freedom from this world.

Is God A "Gangsta" ?

"God's a gangsta, that's why I love him" - Jameka (Big Brother 8)

If God is a "Gangsta", there are a couple of things I want to know...

  1. Does he operate out of a crack house in Compton?
  2. Is he a Blood or a Crip?
  3. Does he have crack ho's working on 54th and Crenshaw?
  4. Does he kick it with his hommies in a '64 Impala?
Why would a self proclaimed Christian equate God with being a "Gangsta"? Wouldn't that be completely opposite of what God is supposed to be??? That's a thought worth pondering!

Did You Know?: The Swastika

Did you know that the swastika is actually an ancient religious symbol used for thousands of years? As a matter of fact it is still used today in the Buddhist religion. However, what most people don't realize is that the original swastika is actually a swastika pointing to the left.

The swastika is considered to be a symbol that contains the key to the universe. It wasn't until Hitler took the original symbol, flipped it and turned it on its axis that it became the symbol of hate.

White Pride vs. Black Pride...Is There A Difference?

I've heard many discussions about racism. It always seems to be ok to have black pride, but when someone says white pride...it automatically makes him or her a racist. Is there really a difference in the two?

Did You Ever Wonder..?

Did You Ever Wonder... Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens our skin?
Why women can't put on Mascara with their mouth closed?
Why don't you ever see the headline "Psychic Wins Lottery"?
Why is "abbreviated" Such a long word?
Why is it that doctors call what they do "practice"?
Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dishwashing liquid, and dishwashing liquid Made with real lemons?
Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?
Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic Called rush hour?
Why isn't there Mouse-flavored cat food?
Why didn't Noah Swat those two mosquitoes?
Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?
You know that indestructible Black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!
Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
If con is the opposite of pro, Is Congress the opposite of progress?

God's Word. Is It Relevant To Today's Society?

If the bible is God's word and law, shouldn't it be followed to the letter? My debate here is, with just a sampling of the "laws" below, isn't the bible outdated for today's society? Shouldn't it either be changed or discarded all together? What are your thoughts?

***The following questions are excerpts from an email that has been sent around the Internet.

When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15:19- 24. The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?

I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? - Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

Again, your thoughts are appreciated.

Only in America ...

Only in America ... Do drugstores make the sick walk all the way To the back of the store To get their prescriptions...While healthy people Can buy cigarettes At the front counter.

  • Will people order Double cheeseburgers, Large fries, And a diet coke.
  • Do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the to the counters.
  • Do we leave cars worth Thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.
  • Do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight?
  • Do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' Meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.
  • Do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.

Pedophilia Voyeurism?

In a recent story from California, there is a guy that is a self-proclaimed pedophile. However, he says he doesn't act on or engage in pedophilia, he is simply a voyeur of children. He also takes pictures of them in public and posts them on his website. They have tried to take him to court, although he hasn't committed a crime, therefore he cannot be held for anything since there is no law against looking.

Is what this guy is doing creepy? Yes!

However, if we start playing big brother and convicting people for what they think or their view points, especially when no action follows the thought, you might as well just put up bars around the whole country and call it "The United Prison of America".

Should there be an implementation of a "Thought Police" in America, to arrest and convict citizens for their thoughts, even when they haven't committed any crimes?

What Is Your Purpose In life?

So we were wondering, you always see people go about their day-to-day routine. But is there something more than what we see? Are people actually living their life with a specific goal in mind, a purpose; or are we just caught up doing the mundane day-to-day stuff out of habit? So we want to know...Do you have a purpose in life, and what is it?

Is God A Complete Lie?

What most people don't realize...is that God could be a complete lie. People are willing to be mindless sheep heading to the slaughterhouse for a philosophy that is force fed to them on a daily basis, without question. Why would you follow a religion that doesn't completely encompass your whole of beliefs? If you're able to pick and choose what you believe from the bible because you don't believe in a few things, how can everything else you decide to accept be true? This is a subject I will explore in future posts.
